The Global Occupations are general, broad occupation groups that define groups of occupations that are most interesting to research based on customer feedback Lightcast has gotten.
The Global Occupations are being retired in the future in favor of the Lightcast Occupation Taxonomy (LOT). The LOT is more granular and comprehensive in nature.
We are committed to supporting anyone who is using the existing Global Occupation Taxonomy until such time everyone has had a chance to switch over to LOT.
