There are a number of different ways to export from Analyst. What you're able to export will depend on whether you're working with a report, table, or map. Typically you can export data to any file type, except for tables which are limited to Excel export only.
After running a report, you can save it to your computer using the "Export" button in the top-right of the page. You'll notice three main file types: Excel, Word, and PDF.
If you run a report with multiple regions you can also select the "Excel Mulitple Regions" export option. This will run the selected report once for each region selected and give a unique export for each of those regions.
You'll also notice something called "Clip." When you clip a report it individually saves each chart and graph onto a custom clipboard. You can then add to or delete from this clip board. You can also re-order the charts to suit your needs.
You can also create a custom report by clipping each chart/graph as you go. See below:
