As part of our ongoing efforts to provide the most reliable profile data, Lightcast is continuing to make improvements to cleanse profiles
What is changing?
Lightcast will be removing stale profiles from the dataset across global countries
When will this change take place?
This change will take place on 31 July 2026 for Analyst product set, Data Share, API, Data Feed customers
What will this change mean for me?
Total Profiles counts will show changes across countries, profiles that we have identified as stale though systematic checks as well as specific business rules have been removed.

What does this mean for my analysis?
Overall profiles counts have shifted, but the trends remain constant.
Looking at the change from a ranking/distribution standpoint we see the same/similar rankings in occupations, skills, titles.
More noticeable changes potential in specific analyses: In more targeted analyses, customers may see more significant shifts.
