Key reports for the UK Higher Education sector can be found in the Higher Education module, also known as ‘Subject Insight’. These reports help you to connect subject areas with relevant sections of the labour market based on Lightcast’s mapping between subject areas and occupations.

This mapping is the result of Lightcast’s research into HESA’s Graduate Outcomes Survey data and ONS Labour Force Survey data. The occupations are intended to reflect intentional and relevant outcomes for a subject area, while recognising that careers are not always clearly vocationally linked to academic courses. The mapping can be amended in Analyst by the users to better reflect their particular provision.
