With our January 16, 2026 release, Lightcast is dramatically increasing the global coverage of our profile data, increasing our collection by 100m+ profiles.
The increase is driven by our expanded translation capabilities. Because we publish all profiles in English, we've invested in translation capabilities covering 17 source languages, backed by a team of more than 20 in-house linguistic specialists who ensure high-quality, accurate translations. No other provider puts this level of resources into translating and enriching profile data.
By standardizing all profiles in English, we can consistently apply our global taxonomies for skills, occupations, education, and locations, resulting in a more complete, unified, and easy-to-consume database of professionals worldwide.
